Why we fire slowly
A kiln cycle at Classic Ceramics runs to thirty-one hours. Most of that time nothing appears to be happening — which is precisely the point.

Brand story
We began in 1998 with one wheel, one kiln and a conviction that tableware should outlive the trend that produced it. Twenty-seven years later the studio still throws, trims, glazes and packs every piece by hand in the same building.
What has changed is who we make for. Alongside the table at home, our work now sits in kitchens across Europe — where a plate is picked up, set down and washed forty times a week and still has to look like it was made by a person.

Hospitality & professionals
Stack-tested, chip-resistant and matched to a reference tile we keep for eight years — so the plate you reorder in 2033 matches the one you opened with.
